Hard Rock Hotel Penang – Rock. Feast. Retune. Roll.

After a tiring night out, a good night sleep is utmost important. The bed in Hard Rock Hotel Penang was superbly comfortable, allowing us to enjoy our sleep.

We upgraded our room from Seaview Deluxe to Lagoon Deluxe, a lagoon view room with direct pool access!

When you are staying in Hard Rock Hotels, the swimming pool is definitely a star attraction on itself.

Their extravagant 26,000 sq ft swimming pool is the largest free form pool in Penang and features a sand island, water playground offering numerous activities for the kids and also private poolside cabanas are available for rental.

After enjoying the pool for some while, hunger kicks in. Luckily there is Pizzeria, a restaurant just beside the pool.

The Pizzeria is the perfect location for a lazy meal offering a great choice of pizzas & pasta dishes with spectacular views of the sea. Definitely the place the fill a hungry stomach after getting tired from the enjoyment of the swimming pool

For starters, we ordered Home Made Dips & Minestrone soup

Home Made Dips – Selection of homemade dips with wood oven baked bread

Hearty Minestrone Soup – Thick soup Italian origin made with vegetables

Main course wise we decided to order a Tandoori Chicken Pizza & Spaghetti Aglio E Olio

We were entertained by the skills of  ” pizza spinning ” by the chefs, flipping the pizza from up to down, left to right.

Must Try – Tandoori Chicken Pizza – Spicy marinated chicken with mango raita and capsicum chutney

Must Try – Spaghetti Aglio E Olio – With shrimp, garlic olive oil emulsion, sweet basil and dried chili

For Dessert, we chose Tiramisu & Pineapple Cake.

Tiramisu – Traditional Italian dessert of espresso soaked sponge fingers layered with mascarpone and zabaglione

Must Try – Pineapple Cake – Pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream

Last but not least, what’s a meal by the pool without some cocktails?

So we ordered Sex on the Beach & Strawberry Margarita to complete our meal.. That’s the life indulgence ^^

After a sumptuous meal, we went back to our room to enjoy the comfort of our room & continue swimming before deciding to take up foot reflexology at the Rock Spa.

Rock Spa – Where your body & soul gets all the pampering

We decided to go for foot reflexology, the masseuse were experience and while massaging every points of our feet, they explain which organ needs more care on every points where it hurts.

Not willing to leave.. Lol

For dinner, we will dine at the ever famous Hard Rock Cafe. Located at the Ground Floor of the hotel, the Hard Rock Cafe is the place to jam from day till night serving authentic American cuisine.

This world famous cafe serves authentic American cuisine made famous by Hard Rock Cafe’s across the globe.

Live Band to keep patrons entertained

Not forgetting the essence of Hard Rock Cafe – the music, the heart and soul of Hard Rock.  Turn it up a notch by night with live band performances in the cafe every night.

We tried the Buka Puasa Hard Rock Cafe Eats Platter. Definitely the portion is fit for a King.. Maybe both King & Queen as well.

After dinner, Cecilia bought a Hard Rock Cafe T Shirt ( she started collecting Hard Rock Cafe T Shirt everywhere we travel ) before calling it a day.

Our stay in Hard Rock Hotel Penang was fabulous, enjoyed & pampered ourselves truly. Definitely look forward to stay in Hard Rock Hotel Penang again!
