During our stay in Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, we had a chance to dine at Spices Garden which specialize in authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a luxurious setting.
The weekday lunch buffet at Spices Garden offers a large variety of Hanoi famous street food such as Pho, Banana blossom salad, La Vong grilled fish and Spring roll.
Price per person is VND790,000++ (approx USD37++) and members of Accor Plus are entitled for 50% discount when 2 adults dining which makes it a fantastic value.
With our table overlooking the lush gardens courtyard and swimming pool, we were ready to indulge Vietnamese cuisine in an opulent & comfortable environment.
Duck Salad, Pineapple Salad, Papaya Salad, Green Mango Salad, Sweet Corn Salad
Seafood Corner : Crabs, Prawns, Clams, Sashimi & Sushi
Cold Cuts, Roast Chicken, Sweet & Sour Beef Calf, Egg & Pork Steam Roll, Pork Pie
Live Grill Station – Lamb Cutlets, Rib Eye, Sirloin
Pork in Xuong Xuong, Chicken Wing, Fried Banh Bao, Fried Prawn
More heavenly Cakes & Pastries
Though on the higher price side compared to outside street foods, we find the buffet enjoyable. Apart from Pho & Bun Cha we were total strangers to Vietnamese cuisine and we dont speak Vietnamese hence are unable to learn more on the food from the street vendors as most doesnt speak English.
The attentive & impeccable service from staffs was a surplus, we are able to understand in details on the food served with the chefs at Spices Garden and with the wide range variety of Vietnamese food we were able to try different regions delicacy instead of just Pho.
Not to forget the luxury ambiance and food hygiene is assured allowing us to dine worry free.
