Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is the 5 star luxury flagship hotel of Anantara Group located in Rajadamri, one of Bangkok’s most prestigious area, opposite the exclusive Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
The hotel is merely 3 mins walk to Rajadamri BTS station, allowing guests convenient access throughout Bangkok. It is also good to know Siam shopping district is just one station from Anantara Siam Bangkok.
Upon arriving, the grandeur lobby was nothing less than impressive, embedding distinctive traditional Thai architecture into a contemporary and luxurious design.
Notable are the 19 major sections of hand painted silk mandalas on its ceilings, each with an individualized design and colour concept inspired by Buddhist symbols, Sung dynasty floral patterns & Thai mythological and astrological animals.
In the center of the hotel lobby, the impressive floral arrangement curated by Anantara Siam’s florist is the first to catch every guests attention follow by the grand staircase mural which is the icon of the hotel.
The theme of the mural is The Coronation of a King, depicting the ascent of the Chakri Dynasty to the throne of Thailand with hundreds of richly costumed figures, lively animals, trees and flowers, painted in the early Rattanakosin style.
If all these feels familiar, on a side note the property was previously Four Seasons Bangkok now reflagged to Anantara Siam Bangkok which inherited most of its characteristic.
After spending a good amount of time mesmerized by its architecture, we proceeded to the reception for check in. Check in was smooth and within few minutes we were guided to our room by their friendly staff.
Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel boasts a total of 354 rooms & suites across 10 categories. Our 42 sq metres Deluxe View Room is quite spacious with a golf course view. The room design is a blend of traditional thai & modern design adorned with authentic artifacts, teak furnishing, silk fabrics & Thai painting over the comfortable king size bed.
Apart from that, our room comes with a LCD TV, work desk & sofa. Complimentary wifi is available throughout the hotel which is crucial factor for us.
The spacious marble bathroom comes with a deep soaking tub and separate glass enclosed shower.

Another highlight of the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is definitely the spa treatment. Though during our stay the spa center was undergoing renovation, the hotel has dedicated some of their luxurious Garden Terrace Room as spa room.
We were recommended to try their signature Siam 2482 90 mins massage inspired by ancient Siam’s diverse cultural which incorporates healing traditions from Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and China.
The treatment started off with a bamboo stick massage which slowly stimulates our blood circulation. Then our well train massage therapist applies some stretching and pressure point techniques to enhance body flexibility and energy flow.
Next, a herbal compress in a fabric of healing indigo is followed by a traditional herbal oil massage and foot reflexology.
Before our treatment ended, a ritual gold leaf patches are placed on the wish area of the left arm and left side of the chest symbolizing good luck & peace of mind.
Definitely one of the very best spa treatment we ever enjoyed, the entire 90 mins was a total indulgence & relaxation of our body, mind & soul.
The hotel itself is like a tropical oasis retreat hidden within the hustle & bustle of Bangkok city with waterfall, lush gardens, and lotus ponds in the hotel providing us a sanctuary to unwind after a tiring day of exploration.
There is no lack of dining option in Anantara Siam Bangkok with 11 choices available. Biscotti Restaurant specialize in Italian fine dine and is also one of the venue for hotel guests to enjoy their daily buffet breakfast. (Another venue will be at Aqua depending on occupancy)
