We find the hotel location very strategic to explore Bangkok with only 1 station away to nightlife Nana & Erawan Shrine Buddha, 2 stations to Siam Shopping District, Red light district Soi Cowboy & Terminal 21 Mall, 3 stations to the newest premium mall EmQuartier located beside Phrom Phrong station. Not to forget Chatuchak Market, Victory Monument & Ekkamai Bus station is easily accessed from Novotel.
For street food lover, there is a street food alley just 5 mins walk from the hotel during the afternoon and the Soi 38 Night street food just 4 stations away.

Importantly free wifi is available throughout the hotel allowing us to be socially connected always.

The fitness center in Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit hotel is well equipped with state of the art weight resistant & cardio workout machines allowing us to do some workout after all the food munching in Bangkok. There are also personal trainers as well to help us with our training.

After working out, we decided to enjoy sauna located beside the fitness center & the swimming pool. Usually this feature is available at 5 star hotel, hence it was a pleasant surprised they have the sauna in this hotel for our enjoyment.

During evening cocktails which starts from 5pm to 7pm, we get to enjoy a variety of beer, wine & cocktails. By 5pm the premier lounge is already crowded with hotel guests sipping cocktails while waiting to for the sunset .

Dee Lounge
Dee Lounge Bar in Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit serves a wide selection of snacks and all day dinning favorite foods at reasonable price. Coming back late and hungry we decided to order some food for supper.
Since we are also Accor Plus member we are entitled to 50% discount for food making the price even cheaper. We ordered an Australia Wagyu Rib Eye Steak 450thb after discount at only 225thb (approx RM25/S$8) and also a bowl of tom yum goong with rice 200thb.
Best of all, the food were delicious with the wagyu very tender & flavorful while the tomyum goong sour & spicy. One of the best meal we had during this trip.

A good variety of food
The buffet breakfast offers a good variety of both Western & Asian food from salad, cold cuts, fruits to hot food serving from 6am to 10.30am.
What we think of the hotel
Modern minimalist design making the hotel a trendy place to stay. The strategic location with BTS right in front of the hotel surely provide us plenty of flexibility to get around Bangkok. Additional bathtub in the room will make it superb. Dee Lounge a great place to chill & enjoy.
