During a dinner gathering with friends, a topic of relocating popped up in our discussion as one of our friends is migrating to another country. It started off if we should invest in an asset in another country as a precaution? The question arises not because due to any instability in the country but as a consideration and planning in terms of education and opportunity in future for our next generation.
As usual, Singapore and Australia came top of the list due to their close proximity, accessibility and with friends and family have been residing there. Comparing both, I would prefer Singapore as it is only a 1-hour flight away and the similarities in lifestyle.
