For our flight back from Europe, we flew with Malaysia Airlines from Paris to KL. (Read our 1st leg flight review : Business Class MH006 Kuala Lumpur to Frankfurt)
Flight Info
Flight Code : MH0021
Departure Time : 12.00pm / Arrival Time : 6.25am
AF Premier Lounge Terminal 1 CDG
Malaysia Airlines flight departs from CDG Terminal 1. We dislike Terminal 1 compared to Terminal 2 as design seems outdated, very long queue for tax refund, expect 2 hours to do that and long waiting time for security screening.
Business Class Passengers can enter AF Premier Lounge after immigration before security screening. Therefore do allow ample time to the gate as security screening takes up time.
Lounge is small, luckily it was quite empty when we were there, lack of choice for hot dishes, instant noodles are available. Decent selections of cold & hot beverages.

MH0021 A380 seats are definitely more spacious & more comfortable compared to MAS B777 KL to Frankfurt route.
Air Stewardess service were excellent. Food is delicious especially the lobster, flight was smooth. Happy Flying!
Hi Tommy, do you know if the AF Lounge at CDG T1 has a pay-per-use option for Y class passengers? I will be travelling to Paris by MH in June with some relatives but not all are travelling biz class. Hope to keep the group together at least at the airport, if not in the cabin. If there is, would it be worth it? I would expect paid lounge to cost the equivalent of RM150-RM250.
Hi KC, there is one pay lounge at terminal 1 – ICARE LOUNGE. Unsure bout the price though
