Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly hostess and was guided to our seats. It is usually fully booked during weekends hence reservation is required to avoid disappointment.
The restaurant is elegantly designed, spacious yet provides an intimate ambiance. Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant is not only suitable for romantic dinner but also a great choice for gathering as quite a number of young execs can be seen enjoying their night during our visit.
Premium Ham & European Cheese Selections
With a seating capacity of 160, diners can choose indoor or outdoor seating which offers a panoramic view of Bangkok skyline.
Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant boasts a fine selection of wines along with tapas, daily specials, imported cold cuts and showcasing a large variety of cheeses.
What amazed us the most is the price point which is very reasonable for such an upscale restaurant, we were expecting at least double the price shown.
Appetizer : Lobster Caesar Salad (THB 690)
We started off with Lobster Caesar Salad, perfectly steamed then grilled lobster with crispy crisp lettuce with a mix of anchovies, bacon topped with thinly slices of Parmesan cheese, a perfect way to start.
Appetizer : Pan Fried Foie Gra with Rocket Salad & Honey Raspberry Sauce (THB 790)
Our next appetizer is Pan Fried Foie Gra with Rocket Salad & Honey Raspberry Sauce, creamy and instantly melt in your mouth while the honey raspberry sauce added some sweet & appetizing element to the dish.
Main : Scallops d’ Hokkaido with Mashed Potato & Truffle Sauce (THB 1100)
The scallops from Hokkaido are very fresh and big in size, pan fried to perfection medium retaining the moist of the scallop with a nice outer char.
Main : Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek with Mushroom Garnish & Mashed Potato (THB 850)
The wagyu beed cheek is braised for 12 hours tenderizing the meat with wine reduction that are easily separated with our fork. The wine reduction is bold and intense while the beef is tender and absorbed the rich flavour. Definitely a meal to choose for wine & beef lovers.
Main : Snow Fish ala plancha with Crushed Potato & Saffron Sauce (THB 950)
Dessert : Granny Smith Apple Tart (THB 250)
For dessert, our granny smith apple tart is delicious combination of a shortbread crust with cinnamon sugared slices of apples, and a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Dessert : Chocolate Profiteroles (THB 280)
The chocolate profiteroles is one of the best seller dessert at Scarlett which we understand why, the fluffy pastry and ice cream plus dipping hot chocolate is a perfect combination made in heaven.

Food portion at Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant is double the usual fine dine hence we were very full by the time we finished our dessert. Not to forget the price is very reasonable as well.
The beautiful setting with its modern & elegance decor, and the price & portion of the fine food plus the great service at Scarlett, there is nothing much to fault with but to look forward for our next visit here. Definitely one of hidden gem of Bangkok!
