Miss Siam Restaurant the signature all day dining restaurant of Hua Chang Heritage Hotel Bangkok specialize in authentic Thai cuisine.
The contemporary designed restaurant also incorporates traditional Thai touch in their decor with the restaurant’s openwork lotus shaped wooden windows and doors & colonial style patterned tiles blended with stylish furniture to create incredible fusion of past & modern.
Diners can also be entertained by the chefs preparing their gastronomic delights through a glass partition that separates the buffet counter from the kitchen.
Miss Siam has an ongoing promotion available for lunch & dinner for their authentic Thai tasting set menu Chaba & Champa which we managed to try both.
The Chaba Thai Set comes with appetizer Crispy Thai Noodles, Chicken stuffing in Egg Tart, Golden Bag with Lotus seed filling and Spicy Prawns soup.
For main dishes, there are Thai Papaya Salad, Grilled Chicken, Rice Noodle with Garlic oil, Stir-fried Mushroom with Oyster sauce & sesame oil, Beef Massamun Curry, Stir-fried Glass Noodle with Crab Meat, Deep fried Fish Cake with steam rice.
And for dessert a special Thai dessert of golden banana in coconut milk
While the Champa Thai Set consist of Steamed Thai Dumpling, Crispy Crab Spring Roll, Crispy Rice Cracker with minced Pork in coconut dip and Chicken in coconut soup with young galangal as appetizer.
For main course, there are Prawn Salad with fresh Lemongrass, Crab meat mousse with coconut served with crispy fish, Chicken Green Curry, Crispy fried dried fish, squid & salted egg, Fried pork with garlic & peppers, Stir Fry morning glory with oyster sauce with steamed rice. Dessert will be fresh seasonal fruits.
Combining both a Royal Thai meal is born
The food served were delicious, the tom yum is rich with prawn stock with some sourness & spiciness, while the green curry was creamy & smooth, the grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, tender & juicy not to forget the tasty papaya salad of unripe shredded papaya, chopped long beans tossed generously lime juice & fish sauce and topped with peanuts & dried shrimp.
Not only that, food quality is superb and the set meal allows us to explore & try new Thai food that we never knew or never had a chance to order it.
The portions were substantial, ordering both set meals could easily satisfy 3 diners. We left happily with our stomach full and satisfied. Service at Miss Siam was also impeccable, the waitress is always on standby to help us with the order making our culinary journey much more pleasant.
