Asia’s first Luce restaurant is located on the 14th floor of Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn adjacent to the stunning infinity pool.
Founded by Marchesi de Frescobaldi family & winemaster Robert Mondavi to create world class Luce wine and inspired by the success, Luce Restaurant was established.
Renowned for its classic Italian cuisine enhance with modern interpretation, the food are prepared using the freshest ingredients available and artfully presented that pair harmoniously with the finest wines from the Frescobaldi and Luce cellars.
The stylist & vibrant restaurant is contemporary designed with gold & subtle wooden tone and floor to ceiling glass that provides abundance natural light creating a more relaxing ambiance.

As this was our first time at Luce, we requested the Chef de Cuisine, Edoardo Bonavolta to surprise us which he gladly accepted & recommended to try the Menu Degustazione.
Italian Focaccia & Pizza Bread
Luce’s degustation menu consist of 4 courses: starter, pasta, main & dessert and is a good choice to sample more dishes in smaller portion. Price at 1,290 THB nett per pax, minimum 2 person.
Starter: Salmon Tartar with Granny Smith Apples, Salted Ricotta Cheese & Chives served with Grilled Bread
The Salmon tartar is mixed with salted ricotta cheese giving it a unique flavour of fresh salmon and the saltiness of the ricotta cheese while the Granny Smith Apples refreshes the palate.
Ravioli Carbonara with Crispy Pancetta
The Ravioli was cooked al dante with sufficient amount of minced bacon & grada padano one of Italy’s famous cheese. Minced bacon was not overly minced, hence you get to enjoy the texture of the bacon instead of powder like meat. The sauce was creamy but not overwhelming, while the crispy pancetta adds extra crunchiness to the dish.
Grilled Australian Lamb Chop with Pistachio crust and Mortadella jus
Our favourite the Grilled Australian Lamb Chop, perfectly seared with pistachio crust giving extra nuttiness while the medium rare thick meat remains very tender & juicy. Satisfaction in every bite also the double sauce offers twin delights of enhancing the meat in earth broccoli sauce or the cream sauce.
Semifreddo Hazelnut served with Kahlua sauce, Fresh orange & mixed Nuts crumbs
Semifreddo an Italian dessert, is a class of semi-frozen desserts with the texture of frozen mousse as usually made by uniting two equal parts of ice cream and whipped cream. A dessert not commonly found in Asia, is great to enjoy it since our Europe trip.
Overall, we enjoyed our meal very much at Luce, the food were excellent, services were outstanding and the friendly chef Edoardo Bonavolta willingly to listen to our feedback and answer them accordingly.
