The Long Bar Steakhouse is the later addition to the famous Long Bar, home to the iconic Singapore Sling cocktail in Raffles Hotel Singapore.
Renowned for their signature prime steaks, the steakhouse has attracted steak lovers regularly patronize the restaurant ever since they opened. The restaurant is open daily for dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

The Long Bar Steakhouse is offering an ongoing special Early Dinner Menu which we tried during our visit.
Starting at 6.30pm, early diners get to enjoy a 2 course meal including a cup of Raffles blend coffee & a glass of Domaine de la Mordorée Côtes du Rhône Grenache to pair with the meal at the price of SGD88++. With additional S$8, you get to enjoy the Tart of the Day.

Appetizer : Dungeness Crab Salad
We started off with our 3 course meal with the Dungeness Crab Salad, the presentation akin to a mini garden wrap in a thin slice of radish, filled with smooth buttery avocado mousse that binds the salad well along with mild taste of crab meats between them.

Main: Roasted Chicken Breast
For our main we ordered a medium rare Fillet Mignon & roasted chicken breast. Both main comes with broccoli & french fries and also 6 choices of mustard sauce.
Though personally prefer rib eye steak over fillet mignon, the beef fillet mignon at Long Bar Restaurant was top notch, grilled to perfection, the meat is tender, juices flowing out when slicing the meat and the denser flavour is definitely appealing.
Dessert: Fruit Tart & Raspberry Sorbet
The additional dessert was worth it as the fruit tart was delicious while the raspberry sorbet was perfect, refreshing yet not overwhelmingly sour leaving a sweet ending note to our meal. The tart crust wise is slight hard to be eaten with fork, though texture was good, anyone try eating tart with knife?

Overall the dinner was fantastic, we enjoyed the dining experience at Long Bar Steakhouse. Great ambiance and exceptional service from every waiter & waitress deserved the praises. Every of them are knowledgeable in the restaurant’s offering, providing acute recommendations thus making our decision making process easy.
Food wise is also on the high side, great presentation and wonderful taste. The early dining menu is definitely worth the value if you order steak when dining at Long Bar Steakhouse as any ala carte steak dishes will cost exact same price as the 2 course menu that includes wine & coffee. Chicken breast wise, you might save for other restaurant.
