EVA Air: KL to Taipei
We flew with EVA Air from Kuala Lumpur to Taipei on our recent trip. EVA Air is a Taiwanese international airline based at Taoyuan International Airport. The airline is part of Star Alliance was awarded 5-star airline rated by Skytrax.
Upon checked in KLIA and Taoyuan Airport, business class passengers, qualified Infinity MileageLand and Star Alliance members are given complimentary access to the airport lounge.
KLIA Airport – Plaza Premium Lounge
EVA Air’s lounge partner in KLIA is at Plaza Premium Lounge. The lounge provides food and beverage all day long. However only beer is complimentary for Plaza Premium Lounge. Other alcohol beverages are chargeable. There are also bathing facilities in the lounge.
Taiwan Taoyuan Airport – EVA Air Lounge
EVA Air has 4 lounges in Taoyuan Airport – The Garden, The Infinity, The Star and The Club. The Star and The Infinity are located side by side while the Gardens is located in front both of the lounge.
The lounge provides all day dining and beverages and also shower facilities.

Premium Economy Class
EVA Air offers up to 4 classes in their flights – First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class. For flights to Malaysia is usually on their A330 which has 2 classes: Business Class and Economy.
During our trip, there was a temporarily aircraft swap from A330 to B777 for KL to Taipei flights. EVA Air B777 offers 3 classes: Business, Premium Economy and Economy. Our economy ticket was upgraded to Premium Economy thus giving us a golden opportunity for us to try their Premium Economy Class.

One meal was served for KL to Taipei and Taipei to KL flight. The airline offers a good variety of beverages during the flight.
