To celebrate the launch of Hermanos Lurton Resorts World Genting Tempranillo, Toro DO and Hermanos Lurton Resorts World Genting Verdejo, Rueda DO as the new house wine of Resorts World Genting, Celebrity Chef Jacabo Astray, one of the chefs from world fame 3 Michelin ElBulli (closed in 2011) was flew in to curate a wine pairing dinner for this memorable occasion.
The event was held at La Fiesta, a traditional Spanish eatery with an open kitchen that offers some of Spain’s signature flavours helm by Chef Arthur Fernandez. Guests can look forward to the evening’s exquisite wine pairing 5 course menu with canapés being prepared live from the open Kitchen.
Started off with Les Fumee Blanches Sparkling
A brief introduction of Hermanos Lurton. With several generations of wine making, the heritage started from Bordeaux, France before one of the family decided to set foot in Spain to start a winery in the South of Castile and Leon.
Hermanos Lurton’s vineyards are located in two appellations: D.O. Rueda for white wines and D.O. Toro for red wines. Using a combination of traditional and modern wine making techniques, thus developing the full intensity of their wines. The wines are fermented in stainless-steel vats and matured on fine lees for several months. Fresh and aromatic, it has bright mineral and white flower notes. The production process makes it full and round, while still preserving its acidity.
