InterContinental Kuala Lumpur presents a luxurious selection of 10 artisanal snow skin and baked mooncakes, crafted under the guidance of Master Dim Sum Chef Lo Tian Sion, who brings 30 years of cultural expertise and modern culinary innovation to the table.
The 2024 Mystic Delight Mid-Autumn Collection offers two festive gift box variations — the Mystic Radiance Lantern Box and the Mystic Splendour Premium Box. The lantern design on these gift boxes is a result of a collaboration with the Mouth & Foot Painting Artists Association (MFPA), an international association owned entirely by differently-abled artists to support their financial independence. The artwork featured is an original piece titled “Strong Light” by foot painter Mohd Khairuddin Bin Che Rani, reproduced with permission from the MFPA.
“Strong Light” is a tribute to Chinese culture, inspired by Khairuddin’s childhood in Kelantan, where he grew up surrounded by Chinese friends and neighbours, and by Chinese television shows. Through this piece, he aims to reflect the harmonious recognition and appreciation of Malaysia’s diverse cultural heritage.
