Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) and Artisan Hospitality, a joint venture led by Singapore’s Oxley Holdings, have announced plans for The Langham, Kuala Lumpur, set to open in 2027. The luxury hotel will occupy the upper levels of the Oxley Towers KLCC complex in the prestigious Golden Triangle area of Kuala Lumpur. This prime location offers stunning cityscape views and proximity to landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC Park, major shopping destinations, and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
This project marks LHG’s continued expansion in Southeast Asia, following the announcement of The Langham, Customs House, Bangkok earlier this year. Together with the award-winning Langham in Jakarta, the Kuala Lumpur property will strengthen the group’s footprint in a region seen as pivotal for growth. Bob van den Oord, CEO of LHG, described the venture as part of the brand’s vision to create iconic, world-class hotels in key gateway cities across Southeast Asia.
The Langham, Kuala Lumpur will feature 198 luxurious guestrooms and suites, complemented by an array of premium amenities. These include a striking sky pool, one of the highest in the city, and an outpost of T’ang Court, the three Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant from Hong Kong. Additionally, it will host a destination bar, the iconic Palm Court from London for its signature afternoon tea, and wellness offerings through LHG’s Chuan Spa, which includes a fitness center and in-room services.
The hotel is also set to become a prime destination for events, boasting an opulent banquet hall and a selection of elegantly designed meeting rooms. Ching Chiat-kwong, CEO of Oxley Holdings, emphasized that this collaboration with LHG will solidify Oxley Towers’ reputation as a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers, enhancing Kuala Lumpur’s appeal as a luxury travel hub.
