Royal Salute unveils the latest chapter in its Fashion Collection through an innovative collaboration with visionary designer Harris Reed. This partnership celebrates the artistry, craftsmanship, and creativity of both icons, resulting in the bold and elegant Royal Salute 21-Year-Old Harris Reed Edition.
The edition made its grand debut in Malaysia during an exclusive event at Michelin-selected Skillet KL. Guests were treated to a curated dining experience designed to complement a lineup of Royal Salute whiskies, including the 21-Year-Old Signature Blend, the 24-Year-Old Cognac Cask, and the centerpiece of the evening, the Harris Reed Edition. The tastings were expertly guided by Scotch Whisky Ambassador Iona McEwan, offering an immersive exploration of each whisky’s nuanced flavors.
The blend was crafted during a private session between Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop and Harris Reed at the iconic Strathisla Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. Reed, celebrated for his demi-couture designs and gender-fluid fashion, drew inspiration from his signature headpieces and Royal Salute’s heritage to design a striking flagon. Featuring a feathered halo reminiscent of a modern royal crown, the theatrical bottle comes in three stunning colorways: Blue, Fuchsia, and Gold.
The Blue Edition is exclusive to travel retail, available at Kuala Lumpur International Airport for RM1,335. The Fuchsia and Gold Editions will be available in select outlets starting mid-December, priced from RM1,343.
