Scalini Bangkok is an Italian fine dine that serves food with its roots in all parts of Italy, incorporating innovative & creative new dishes that features a modern twist to the traditional Italian cuisine, using fine foods and high quality ingredient.
The restaurant is just 5 mins walk away from Phrom Phong BTS Station. The restaurant is also the signature restaurant of Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit featuring a centrally located wine cellar and a private dining area offers a mix of traditional Italian-American cuisine from the 1920s and 1930s.
Greeting us is the vibrant open kitchen where chefs dazzle diners with their culinary skill. The friendly restaurant manager welcomed us and led us to our table.
We started with Sea Scallops with avocado guacamole, organic tomatoes and cherry vinaigrette & Wagyu Beef Carpaccio served with 36 months aged Parmesan Cheese, Rocket Salad & Truffle Dressing. The scallops were superbly fresh & satisfying. Our Secondi Boston Lobster and Blue Crab Chitarra pasta was probably the main highlight of the dinner. The Chitarra was packed with flavourful seafood umami with generous chunk of Blue crab and lobster meat. Our main was a perfectly cook tender medium rare Fiorentina Steak marinated with olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs served with baby spinach & potato. The Scalini Tiramisu has a fun twist, instead of a ready made one, we get to make our own by combining the ingredients.
Scalini once again doesnt disappoint, from attentitve, friendly services to lip smacking food. If you happen to be in Bangkok, we do recommend to make a visit.
