Upon arriving Seoul, we checked in to our hotel. After a good rest, we decided to go the ever famous shopping district in Seoul – Myeongdong.
It is all about fashion, fashion & fashion in Myeongdong, Seoul’s primary & most famous shopping district.
If it’s variety that you’re after, there’s no better place to shop than Myeong-dong where you’ll find everything from internationally-recognized name brands to unique items.

Myeongdong also houses a variety of family restaurants, fast food, plus Korean, Western and Japanese dining options. Many restaurants in Myeongdong specialize in pork cutlet (donkas) and kalguksu (thick noodles).
Crowded with people
We stumble upon a crowded Korean restaurant & decided to try it.
We ordered Mae-un Dakgui, Korean Chili Paste Spicy Chicken if Im correct for 2 people. The portion seems fit for 3 or 4 people. You have the privilege to cook it yourself.
Mashittda – Delicious in Korean
Myeongdong is also famous for street food, remember to try out the ice cream tower.
Not to forget, Myeongdong is the place where everyone shops for famous Korean Cosmetic brands such as Etude House, Skin Food, Laneige, The Face Shop, Missha!
Basically before you even step into their shop, they will give you free mask, tissue paper and so on! It is much cheaper to buy Korean cosmetics over in Seoul especially Myeongdong, not to mention that they even give you more free samples after you bought!
